Thus, glass recycling helps the environment in two ways – it helps to prevent carbon dioxide pollution by decreasing the need for new virgin glass, and helps by taking up less space for glass in landfills.
Globally, glass recycling is quite encouraged all around. Third world and developing nations often are forced to recycle glass bottles because the price of new glass bottles is to excessive. Glass recycling is useful in many ways as well as being environmentally conscious. Whenever possible, individuals should make an effort to strive toward glass recycling instead of simply throwing away their discarded glass.
